I've never officially released this project and I don't consider this as an official release neither, but with the current enthusiasm around the timepickr since I released it, there are some users who provided patches and submitted issues, I felt the need to at least provide an introduction and better documentation for this project.

So it started when I got tired of creating new Google Code projects for each plugins I made. I decided to create instead a larger project which would include all my plugins. That's how jQuery Utils came to life.

I took the jQuery build system and started to build selected plugins and merge them into a single portable file.

Now I use my own build system, which allow me to do more advanced things, like automatically package a standalone versions of the ui.timepickr.js and create distribution files.

I also added many plugins from other talented programmers, the most recent I've added is livequery by Brandon Aaron.
